Testing compliance check completed

The Government today completed a joint enforcement operation at King Fung House of King Shan Court in Wong Tai Sin, which was earlier included in a compulsory testing notice.   The enforcement action was conducted from around 8am to 11am by the Education Bureau together with Police and the Department of Health.   Having checked 206 people’s test records, it was discovered that six people failed to comply with the notice and they were issued with a compulsory testing order.   A fixed penalty notice of $10,000 was also issued to three of them.

8.47m jab doses administered

About 8,474,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 4,430,300 people receiving their first dose and around 4,043,600 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,607,100 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,823,300 people got the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 1,472,300 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 2,571,300 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 33,700 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   Around 3,600 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 9,200 people received their second dose.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 4,500 people received their first dose and around 16,400 people got their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 97% while it is about 93% for the BioNTech one.   As of midnigh
