7k people vaccinated

About 7,000 people received their first doses of the vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today, the Government announced.   A cumulative total of about 13,600 people have been vaccinated since February 22, it said.   The Government called on the citizens of the five priority groups to get vaccinated early so that the economy and people’s way of life could return to normal as soon as possible.   Getting vaccinated protects not only yourself but also family members and friends and will help reduce the risk of a community outbreak, it added.

Energy efficiency meeting held
